Do I have to print and carry my eTA with me when I travel?

Technically, there is no requirement to carry a printed copy of your eTA, as when your application is approved, it will be electronically linked to your passport for border security to check on their system. However, it is advisable to keep printed copies of all of your travel documents just in case you do encounter any problems when trying to enter the Canada border or at any other stage of your travel.
