When you get your eTA application approved, your eTA will be valid for five years and in that time
you can use the same eTA for multiple trips to Canada, providing your visit does not extend any
longer than six months in duration. It is important to be aware that if your passport expires and
you renew your passport, you will need to apply for a new eTA. This is because eTA is linked to your
passport and once you get a new passport, a new eTA must be linked to it. So your eTA visa is valid
for five years, or until your passport expires, whichever is the sooner.
